Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is an American association that certifies behavioral analysts. The purpose of the certification is to increase patient safety for behavioral analysis interventions. To become a certified behavioral analyst (BCBA) requires a master's in behavioral analysis, education or psychology as well as an approved course sequence on an accredited education in behavioral analysis and 1500 hours of behavioral analysis work under the supervision of a BCBA. When you have completed the course, you also need to pass an examination. In Sweden, there are 17 certified behavioral analysts. If you want to find a Swedish BCBA, go to BACB's search function and select Sweden under International before applying. Our speech language pathologist Oscar Strömberg is a BCBA.
